Raising Rock Stars Preschool ~ Letter O

~ Melody is 4 years and 1 month old ~
~ Emily is 22 months and 2 weeks old ~

Below are only some of the things we do for school. I’m not able to capture too many photos when we’re out and about since I only have so many hands. Don’t know how you moms with more kids than arms do it! The main program we’re following is Raising Rock Stars with Carisa at 1+1+1=1. Using that format to teach the letters, I use Erica at Confessions of a Homeschooler‘s Letter of the Week curriculum. Melody also loves workbooks, so we end up doing a lot of that too. RAISING ROCK STARS

Craft – I think this was the craft from the previous week??

Key cards and Tracing Os – She was just flying through these…and enjoying them as you can see.

Craft – She wanted to make a pattern with the dotters.

Coloring Page – Woohoo!! I am loving that she is using more colors in her coloring pages.

OTHER FUN STUFF

Kai’s First Birthday Party – It was the girls’ first time whacking a pinata. During bedtime snacktime, Melody decided to sort all the goodies that they got from the party. How cool is she? =p

Great Clips – The girls watching Mommy get her hair cut to donate for the 4th time to Locks of Love!

Sidewalk Chalk – I called out some shapes/numbers and the girls ran to them.

“Family Couch” – Dora’s mommy doesn’t quite sit right on the couch.

Easel Drawing – Notice Melody’s “curvy” Y and she has to add her age to her name as well.

Happy Feet – These are my Happy Feet slippers. Melody has some at my parents’ house. She decided she needed to wear them at home so she took mine. =p This is her “posed” stance. =\

Sweeping – Helping Daddy after he mowed the lawn. Daddy was going inside because they were all done, and she wanted to sweep some more.

SISTERS

“Sleepover” – One morning they took all the pillows and cushions to make a “sleepover”.

MY RAMBLING

I am just trying to catch up on these posts, so I have pretty much forgotten a lot of the details of what went on for the week. The girls are growing up so fast, and keeping me on my toes. I am loving it, but it is also challenging to give them individual attention all the time.
