Lakeshore Craft: Winter Igloo

These winter igloos were made 2 Saturdays ago at Lakeshore during their free crafts time. Yeah, they don’t look like winter igloos, oh well. If you have a Lakeshore Learning Store near you, you should really take advantage of this service. The worker prepares everything, your kids do crafts, and you don’t have to clean up the mess.

Materials

  • Paper Cup
  • Markers
  • Pompoms
  • Pipe cleaner
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue
  • Anything else you want to decorate with

Instructions
Already prepared for us: Cut the bottom of the cup to make a hole. Tie pipe cleaner through each side of the bottom hole to make a handle. Make a pompom creature by gluing 2 pompoms of the same size for the head and body. Glue a smaller pompom for the nose.

  1. Decorate the cup.
Add eyes and ears and feet or whatever you want to your creature.
  2. Glue the creature onto the igloo.
