The weekend was a full one with another red egg and ginger party and lots of stuff happening at church. Monday was not a good day at all. Camera broken, arm hurt. Enough said. Wait, not that wasn’t it…Melody has a cold too. But….Highlights were: packing our Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes!, MOPS, lunch with my sister and in-laws, and sponsoring our first Compassion child!!!! We started looking recently, and when we least expected, we found her. Her name is Solissa from the Dominican Republic and she has the same exact birthday as Melody!

The Board

Big Letter

Tracing Zs

Coloring Page – She did not want to do this this week because she had a cold.

Cut and Tape Verse – She was feeling much better the next day after some medicine. Cutting is serious business. =p

Zaccheus was a Wee Little Man – These two will dance to any song.

Roll a Zebra – This was Melody’s first time doing the “Roll a” activity and she liked it. We will be doing this again.

Z is for Zebra

Beginning Sequencing Workbook – She knew to color in the light green and the dark green parts differently.

Calendar – There’s a “glue bottle” that says “Test Today” and she always jokes that there is a test that day…everyday. =p

Melody put together a slideshow of things that start with the LETTERZ. Daddy helped with taking the photos with the camera, and Mommy helped with the slideshow part.

Dance Class – This is the first class that we have ever registered for for Melody. She loves is and it is helping her so much to follow directions from someone other than parents and grandparents.

Red Egg and Ginger Party – The party was for my brother-in-law’s niece C. C’s big sister S was the flowergirl with Melody for my sister’s wedding. They live about a little over an hour away so we don’t hang out with them, but S and Melody always have a blast hanging out and chatting and doing crafts together.

Operation Christmas Child – I’m so proud of my girls for putting the boxes together.

New Flannel Bedsheets – Melody’s room is one of the coldest at night. We finally bought her some flannel sheets. She loves them!

Lincoln Logs before Bedtime

Compassion child sponsorship – Melody looking up Dominican Republic on the map.

Dancer – Soon enough, I’ll have her enrolled too.
